The Last Act
Brad Parks

I just listened to this (from the library). If you like twists & turns that are unpredictable yet work, this is a really fun book.

Tommy Jump is an out-of-work stage actor approached by the FBI with the role of a lifetime: Go undercover at a federal prison, impersonate a convicted felon, and befriend a fellow inmate, a disgraced banker named Mitchell Dupree, who knows the location of documents that can be used to bring down a ruthless drug cartel . . . if only hed tell the FBI where they are.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just checked Libby and also overdrive and they don't have it. I checked Audible and they do ( I have a subacription)

. However the first review talked about how there is a 2-hour short story called The Whistleblower that is really the intro to it. Audible also has that $1. 95. Did you listen to that first?

Love twisty plots, I will add this to my list.
Most recent twisty book I enjoyed was, Lock Every Door by Riley Sager. A quick, fun (slightly spooky) read!
