Speaking of socks....

After I had a few babies right in a row, nothing fit and I was staying home. So I got really into socks. One of the pairs of socks I got quickly became my favorite. I have now been wearing them for about 20 years They are starting to get holes in them, and I'm so sad. I've never seen socks like this again (but I haven't been looking too, too closely). If they ever had a brandname on them, it is long gone.

Recently, I've been trying to find socks like these, and everywhere is about fuzzy socks. I don't want fuzzy socks. They get unfunny and the don't stay like these do. These have never shrunk or stretched out, they stay where I put them (they don't twist around) and this pair lasted for two decades (I only wear them in the winter, but still!).

Picture coming soon- I've tried to show the bottom, too, which used to have no-slip snowflakes, but now they are faded. Any ideas where I can find thick socks like this?

eta: eh, never mind about the pic. I tried 3 different ways to upload it and I'm over it. They are crew length and thick. And decidedly not fuzzy

Would something like this work? They’re called fuzzy but they don’t look it.

Try Bombas. I had to try them because Amiga loved them, and now I don’t want any others!

I would suggest Bombas as well. They are expensive but I really like them. For every pair purchased, they donate a pair.

Thanks for the additional suggestions!

I'm definitely looking for the kind of sock that doesn't fit into your shoe very easily (that kind of thick). But not slippers.

These say “fluffy,” but they came up when I searched “cable knit slipper socks,” which is what I imagine when I imagine “not fuzzy socks.”
