I have an ESL interview next week and am looking for advice as to what I need to know in order to do well. I am certified in ESL, but have not taught it yet (though I work with ELL students in my English classes). Any advice or help is appreciated!

Okay I'm not sure if your interview has passed but, if it hasn't, here's what you might expect. If you'll be working strictly as an ESL teacher, they'll likely want to know what strategies that you use to connect with and support ELL students in your classroom currently. How do you work with them to support their growth in English acquisition? What successes have you experienced? What do you do to extend your knowledge and develop yourself professionally? How do you work with colleagues? If you're currently an English teacher working with ELLs, how do you collaborate with your ELL teahcer?

Thank you - I don;t have an ELL support teacher in my school, but do have a number of students who have "transitioned" out of ELL but still need help every now and then.
