DIY Magnet Boards

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I would like to make inexpensive, black magnetic boards for each of my students this year. I’m thinking about getting cookie sheets from dollar tree and spray painting them black. Does anyone know what kind of paint I would need to use? It needs a hold up with the kids putting on and taking off the magnetic pieces each day. (I need the boards to be black because the students have cortical visual impairment and need the black background to make it easier for them to see the items we’re working with.)

My DB painted a wall in his house for his children to hang their art work. It did work well.

I think Rustoleum works well. You could paint a few extra and swap them out for any that wear too quickly.
