Appliance shopping & Black Friday Question!

I'm planning on buying a new refrigerator. Home Depot seems to have a pretty good sale going on now. My SO says I should wait for actual Black Friday to see if I can get a better "deal"

I don't think the savings is going to be that significant, but I've never paid any attention to appliances on Black Friday!

Any experience on this one? I'm ready to buy one, but he's acting really high and mighty and I don't want him to be right if I buy it now.

Have you asked one of the salesmen at Home Depot if the refrig you like will be going on sale? Sometimes they can be very nice and if you explain the situation, that might help your case! Good luck.

I think most places are doing "Black Friday" deals all of November these days but you never know My feeling is that a really good BF deal is likely to be on only 1 brand or style and if you have a specific refrigerator you want and it's on sale now you should get it.

Of course I don't have to live with your DH if we're both wrong You could just ask them, I've had salespeople at places like HD tell me to wait because something will be a better price the following week.

I was in Best Buy today looking at a tv. The salesperson told me that if I bought it now, and it went down in price before Christmas, they would refund me the difference (if I brought in my sales slip). You could ask Home Depot if they have a similar policy.

Lowes was my go to place to get a new refrigerator. when it showed up with a tiny ding out of the box, I got a discount of $400 off what I already paid which was a sale price.

There is a serious problem with the icemaker on the French door refrigerators that Samsung makes and they donít want to fix it. I would stay away from that brand.
