Well...You might as well know absolutely everything about me.
What the Heck.

Had not been to the gynecologist in too many years to remember.

Pap Negative.
Ultrasound Negative.

Had 2 x 2 x 2 centimeter polyp removed from cervix.
Benign.

BUT...

Concerned about "SQUAMOUS METAPLASIA" tissue that she removed from cervix.

Doc said it's "normal."
Websites have me confused and panicked.

Hoping someone out there has the same thing and can explain it in terms that I understand.

Itís a benign change to the cells. Not cancer. Call the doctorís office and ask to speak to the nurse and have her explain it to you. People call all the time for explanations.
