Holiday Card

Clip to ScrapBook #1

Hi! I need some advice.
A family gave me their holiday card. Really cute pictures of the kids, this sentimental teacher will treasure it for years, etc.

I try to reciprocate things from kids as if they were adults to model manners. A gift gets a thank-you note, etc.

But I'm a public school teacher. Obviously I'm not going to give them my über-religious Christmas card in return. But would it be crossing the line to give them a generic drugstore holiday card?

I give my kids cards with Santa or snowmen if I know they celebrate, or seasons greetings if I'm not sure. Just not religious ones.

Sure! There are so many to choose from these days. Mine were a nature scene in wnter and the sentiment was Seasons Greetings. Kind of kid friendly and cute for kids.
