You have had a lot of cardmaking experience and I could use your advice. I am having trouble finding a black ink pad that I like. What is your favorite? Thanks.

It depends on how you want to use your ink.

For most of my black stamping, I use Memento Tuxedo Black. Good for Copic. Bleeds with watercolor over it.

My Favorite Things (MFT) Black Licorice HYBRID ink is good for Copic/alcohol ink coloring.

Ranger Archival Jet Black ink is waterproof. Bleeds with Copic/alcohol ink.

VersaFine Onyx Black ink is good for stamps with fine details and is waterproof but, in my opinion, stays wet much longer. Then I have a tendency to smudge it before it dries and that makes me mad!

Your advice is appreciated. I use black ink mostly for card sentiments. I am pretty new to stamping and find it very frustrating at times.

The Memento Tuxedo Black is my go-to for sentiments.
