Here are some rolled into their pockets. The pocket is attached to the tote bag.

They look great! What pattern do you use? Wish there were bags like this that were cross body to carry things while traveling. Are yours made out of cotton or what type of fabric?

I found the pattern and instructions on YouTube. Each one takes about a yard of fabric. I used a cotton that doesn’t seem to wrinkle too badly. I have mixed feelings on some of the designs, but have decided they look “vintage” . I got them for about $1.20 a yard (80% off at JoAnns). After the first one I am able to make them fairly quickly!

I made these based on the EasyToSew video. It is a two part tutorial. There is no speaking, but it is pretty easy to follow. These totes are made using a serger for parts of them. If you don’t have a serger there is another good one that is about 35 minutes long. She explains how to finish seams really well. That one is Crafty Patti.
