Ideas for 3rd grade centers

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I am about to complete my first year as a 3rd grade teacher. I feel that the one area that I want to improve most for next school year is centers. I would love for other teachers to share what they do, any posters that they have, or supplies that are needed. i am interested in any subject area for centers. THANK YOU!!

You might get some ideas from Mrs Russ's 3rd grade centres:

Take it to your seat

I have just discovered the Take it to Your Seat Centers by Evan-Moor. They have several subjects to choose from in several grades. Everything you need for the center is in the book. Just cut, laminate and put in a folder. I got three of them used from Amazon and all were completley intact.

I don't know if it is the same Mrs. Russ, but I just typed in www.mrsruss.com and came up with a third grade site. I haven't had a lot of time to really look things over, but she has a lot of good stuff. Hope this helps.
