Card: Easter #2

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I used THIS CARD as my inspiration.

I used Post-It tape to tape the white cardstock to my surface so that I could have a wider white margin and be certain it would not pull the surface when I removed it. I have not invested in the Picket Fence Life Changing Brushes everyone is raving about. I did buy a set of 3 similar brushes at Walmart for $4.96 and used the largest one, which is not very large compared to the real things. My cheap brush shed a lot, but it did work. I used 2 yellows, 2 blues, and 2 pinks from Distress Oxide inks on regular cardstock. I splattered that panel with water to create the spots. I stamped 3 of the cross image with Delecata Rose Gold ink. I used my scoring board to score some ray lines into the panel. I cut that panel down with a die from MFT Rectangle STAX set 2. I cut the hill piece from Simon Says Stamp Stitched Slopes and Hills die set.

Easter blessings is from Simon Says Stamp Rejoice stamp set, which is no longer available. I just have the stamps, not the dies.

Beautiful cards. You are so talented! So, even though your Walmart brush worked are you still thinking about those other brushes? I know with my sewing projects I will get the economical supply item first and then will often succumb to the better version just because it makes my life easier

The real brush set has not made it to my wishlist. Not a priority at this point.
