DH has been having stomach/abdominal cramps for about a week. He figured it would pass, but was uncomfortable enough to go to the ER this morning. They ran a CT scan and found a blockage in his colon. Now we wait until we can follow up with a GI specialist. My brain has already jumped off the deep end with worry.
If y'all could send some positive juju his way, it would be much appreciated.

because they couldn't get their GI person in today? So now he's to make an appointment at the GI's office for a colonoscopy. They gave him meds to stop the stomach spasms, but nothing for pain, etc. He's miserable. Not sure how to help him. They didn't elaborate on anything for him b/c they said the CT wasn't definitive.
I'm so sorry he couldn't get treatment today. Of course you are both worried! I hope he is feeling better soon and gets some real answers and treatment soon. Thinking of him and sending lots of positive juju!
Don't worry. There are many situations that occur simultaneously and in the end they can be solved separately. I am sorry your dh is feeling so miserably. Best wishes for comfort and solutions very soon!
I agree with Anna! There are many reasons this can happen. I know a few people with blockages which were caused by scar tissue in the abdominal area. I am praying for a quick diagnosis, an easy remedy and for your peace.
