First Grade

Hi, I have been in first grade for a while now. As far as supplies or cheep ways to get things. Watch the Staples, Target, Walmart, and Office Depot ads. Your going to want to have colors and color words up, numbers and number words. I have a number line up. It helps with math a lot. Your going to want to do groups and centers. Puzzles make a great math center, CDs with stories make a great reading center, big books, etc.
We do Thursday Folders. I put in any notices from the office. I also put their work in it from the week so parents can see what they are doing.
I am not sure about websites for buying things, but pinterest is a good place to get ideas and find things you can print off. It is free.
