What would you buy if you had to spend $139 for your classroom. I am having trouble prioritizing. Thanks in advance.

leveled book sets and math manipulatives.

I would buy leveled book sets for sure! I know scholastic book orders have them, or Benchmark Enrichment has some, but I would definitely add to my library if I had extra money.

Rigby, Sundance, National Geographic, Heinemann School.

CCSS is really pushing non-fiction and there are lots of leveled readers from those guys that support science, math and social studies.

Since I don't know your situation, I'm not sure if this would work for you, but I use individual student trays for math, art and science.

They are fast food plastic trays. I have organizing charts for pattern blocks, counters, etc.
that way, I can see at a glance whether or not the children have all the counters or small pieces that they started with. It works well for accountability.
