Update on dr. appt.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone that included me in their prayers! By the time the doctor came in the exam room I was a blubbering mess. Luckily for me, she is a very caring person and she was very understanding and reassuring.

The great news is she didn't feel any lump! Yay!!! She scheduled me for a mammogram on July 22. The down side, though, is that I still feel "off" and still am full of worry about what could be wrong. I am taking a deep breath, getting myself in the summer school mindset, and trying to calm down before the 22nd rolls around.

I feel so thankful to my Heavenly Father. He has heard my fearful prayers for months now, yet He still listens! Yesterday when I went in to Walmart, they had set up a new tee shirt display. Hanging right in front was a purple (my favorite color) tee shirt that said, "Don't Worry. God's Got This"!!! I smiled and said a little thank you prayer!

I'm not sure exactly what is going on with my health, but I am on the right track to finding out. I'm sure as the mammogram appointment nears, I will be leaning on my PT prayers again! As alone as I've been feeling, it was a huge boost to have so many offer up prayers for me. I've come to realize that as long as I am a part of this wonderful community I AM NOT ALONE! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!!!

Queenie

Queenie, that is good news. God does not want us to go through life's trials alone. If you haven't already, please let your family know what is going on. I bet they could lend support unlike any others.

Step one taken! Now on to the mammogram. Hope it is not a problem, but at least if it is serious you are on track to dealing with it. I have been through similar things many times, so I know about falling apart. Sometimes you just have to let go. Will keep you in prayers.

Sometimes our fear will manifest itself with physical symptoms. A dr. once told me to go home, take a bubble bath, and relax.

Do you worry a lot? I find that a healthy diet and exercise (even just walking) helps with combating worry and anxiety. A few years back I was walking three times a day and it helped me get through a tough spot.

Glad you have calmed down a bit Queenie!
I know it's hard to wait.
My mother died almost 40 years ago from breast cancer. She was only 50. Just the word lump, makes me go into a tailspin. But I have an annual mammogram and I worry myself silly until I get the word, "negative."
You are in my prayers!
I know it's hard not to worry, but put in in the Lord's hands and visit WalMart often to take a look at that purple tshirt!
Pull out your journal and write that saying down.
Do something special every day and soon that mammogram day will be here and the report will be "negative."
Praying!

I am so glad the doctor felt no lump, that makes me think cyst, which grow and shrink. My BFF gets them, and caffeine makes them come out.

In any case, I will be praying for your peace of mind, strong faith, and good results for your mammo. I can't tell you how many "today's" I've wasted worrying about things that never came to be. Maybe you could ask to be called in sooner if there is a cancelation. Keep us poser, we are here for you.

That is great news! So glad she did not feel a lump. Things sound very positive. Continue to pray for peace of mind. I know how hard the waiting is. Try to stay busy! Go to Walmart and buy the shirt and then whenever you feel anxious, it will be there as a reminder of God's wonderful Grace and His Love for you!
Continue to keep us posted!

That is very encouraging news! What you described, which I just read a few minutes ago, sounds a lot like it could be cysts or some type of lymph node infection. I know it is scary to deal with this! I am praying for you as we speak!
