Christian Concerts

In the next couple of months, there are many Christian Concerts in my area. Of course, I am extremely excited. Without giving too much away, I will say that I enjoy Christian Concerts more than country or rock concerts.

I've been to Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, Mandisa (twice), Brandon Heath and Rhett Walker, just to name a few. Like I said, I don't want to give away too much. I think that would "out" me.

For those Christian Music Fans, who are some of the ones you have to see when in your area?

I have seen Casting Crowns, MercyMe, Steven Curtis Chapman, Barlow Girls... I'm sure there are many more that I just can't remember.

I like going to them too. I think the prices have gotten a little high lately so I haven't been able to see many.

But there is a festival in my area that I love going to when they have big names.

I think the atmosphere is different than regular concerts.

I've only been to one Christian concert (I think it was Michael W. Smith back in '91 or so), but I remember all my '80s Christian music - Petra, Stryper, Amy Grant, White Heart... that might have been it for me.

We are a smaller market so we don't get very many but I went to see Matthew West and Mandisa a few years ago, Casting Crowns last fall, and will be going to see Newsboys in April. I have also been to Winter Jam where there were a variety of performers. I would still love to see Mercy Me, Francesca Battistelli, and Sidewalk Prophets.

I used to go all the time, but as I aged I got tired of fighting the crowds with no reserved seats. Off the top of my head, here are some I saw:
Steven Curtis Chapman, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Tim Minor, Carman, Petra, ... It's been a while.

I love Mercy Me - would love to see them!

We've seen Newsboys, Toby Mac, Mandisa, Matt Maher, Francesca Battestelli, and Building 429. They were great concerts.

My absolute favorite was For King and Country. I also loved Matthew West. Casting Crowns, Newsboys, and Mercy Me were also good.

I really wanted to see Plumb!! But no one to go with me this weekend! They're my fav. I love Klove....Christian music is the only thing that would comfort me a little after DH died. I mostly listen to KLove more than other stations lol.

I have seen Mandisa and Casting Crowns. I have to travel close to two hours to go to a concert like this so it doesn't happen often! I would love to see many of the others listed here. I love to listen to KLove.

That's what I listen to all the time now! I just discovered it a few weeks ago, and I love it. I always listened to Christian music (well, the last 30 years or so), but the 2 other Christian stations we have spend too much time talking. KLove doesn't do that - and I love the news "shorts" they do.

I remembered another group - DC Talk - before Toby Mac went out on his own. Great concert, and we got to meet them after. Nice guys.

Another was Jon Gibson who said he lead MC Hammer to the Lord.

I've seen several already mentioned. We went to see Chris Tomlin last summer and I completely enjoyed it!
