You are a group of fifth grade TAG students. You know what a vowel is. This is one of the neediest groups I have ever taught.

Maybe that's because they refuse to pay attention during my lessons. When I'm teaching my math lesson and look over the class and see maybe 4 kids actually listening, it makes me furious. I talk to them about the importance of paying attention and the need to understand what I'm teaching to be successful but they simply don't care. As soon as I hand out a test, about 6 hands go up and they say, "I don't get this." No kidding?! That's what happens when you refuse to pay attention to me!
