Hello fellow teachers! Would anyone be interested in having student penpals? I have 26 first grade students and live in Oregon. We could give 2 penpals to a student if you have more or less students. Many of my students are high achievers and could easily write 5-10 sentences to a penpal, so a 2nd grade class could also be a good fit. I was hoping we could write twice a month to you. I'm happy to set up potential student matches for us. I think it would be a great way to strike up some authentic writing motivation in my students to have a child to write to.
