Thanks for sharing. Your classroom looks amazing! I've been doing a Hollywood theme for 3 years and I got some new ideas to add to mine.

Nice room. I can't get over the fact that you had 10 students. You're so lucky.

Love the bright green walls- you have done a great job decorating and making your room a comfortable and exciting place for your students to learn! I agree with the small class of 10- makes me a bit envious especially seeing my class list of 29 4th graders in my box today:-( But nonetheless, fantastic job and I hope you have a great year!!!! :-)

I loved your poem for you BTS bags. I assume you put a fake dollar in their bag, is it redeemable for something else or is it a real dollar? I'm brainstorming how I could modify that into a ticket of some sort redeemable for, idk, something movie related...hmmm...I'd love to do a real dollar but my class list is at 32.

Where did you get the All About Me sheets? I really like those. Is it possible for you to post a copy of that paper? Thank you.

looks great! I can't believe a teacher left all that stuff/junk behind. I really like your library sign - Read With the Stars, I might have to use that this year. I'm doing a hollywood theme as well and you have just given me a few more ideas.

Loved looking at your pictures! I'm doing a Hollywood theme this year too - your room looks great! Did you make your signs/calendar pieces/ etc or did you buy them somewhere?

DaisyBear- I think my favorite thing in that room was the curtains I actually made the curtains. I had the fabric from a toga party I went to about 5 years ago. My DH actually remembered we had red fabric when I mentioned I wanted to make a curtain

DiamondGirl- I teach at a small private Christian school which is why I only had 10 students last year. It definitely was nice!

dadfent- The first day poem actually came from Mrs. VanDyke's website I believe. For some reason I do not have the one in the picture saved on my computer but I do have the original one that I downloaded from her website. I'll attach it to this post.
The "dollar bill" that I put in the popcorn bags was one of my StarBucks that I made. I'll also attach that too.

dav5fam- The All About Me sheets were purchased from Teachersclubhouse.com. You can purchase them and it downloads right to your computer! Love it!

teachindakidz- The Read With The Stars sign I just made in Word and those pictures were downloaded from the net. I believe the website is readwiththestars.com. I can upload them if you want. Just let me know. The kids loved seeing the Diane Sawyer poster because she came to our school and interviewed one of my students!

alb26- The calendar and pieces were purchased from Teachersclubhouse.com. See dav5fam's response above.

If you are interested in the first day poem, I'll have to e-mail it to you. The file is too big to upload.
