Kohls returns question

I maybe want to buy some boots online at Kohl’s, and I have a 40% off coupon that’s good today only, as well as some Kohls cash. I’m nervous about the fit of the boots without trying them on though. If I need to return them, will they refund my Kohls cash as well as the cash I spend?

So like if I spend $18 plus my $10 Kohls cash, will I get that all back, at least in credit? (I know I wouldn’t get the 40% savings again but oh well)

Assuming I need to return them...hopefully they’ll fit fine though!

I have bought things with Kohl's cash and then returned. They put store credit on a gift card.

This was years ago, so I'm not sure if the policy has changed, but my experience was similar to the pp. I bought items with Kohl's cash and when I went to return them, they gave me a store gift card. It was better than the Kohl's cash because I didn't have to spend it in a certain time frame.
