I'm thinking of doing a Dr.Seuss theme for my 3rd grade classroom . I was going to do stars but really hit the jackpot at Target with Dr.Seuss items. Do you think I could incorporate both or just one ? Is it to babyish for 3rd graders .... Thanks!!!

I'm doing Dr. Seuss in 4th, but I'm trying to avoid the Cat In the Hat and the younger side of Dr. Seuss. I'm doing touches of Dr. Seuss with lots of colors. I want it to be bright and cheerful! Also, check put Michael's! I found tons of Dr. Seuss stuff on clearance.

I'd love to see pictures of what you've done in your room. This will be my 4th yr to do a Dr. Seuss theme. I try to change it up each year. There are so many unique characters, I love the variety.

Definitely not too babyish for 3rd graders. There's a teacher on my team with that theme. If they could admit it, even the 5th graders still love Dr. Seuss.

I love the pp's idea of the star bellied sneetches! Great way to incorporate it. You could make your student of the week the "star" easily enough. There's even the star student chair cover at Target for $1. You could give them a star to wear on their belly, etc...

of Dr. Seuss classrooms, you can search the busyboard. Put "my Dr. Seuss classroom" in the search box. It will bring up my post of classroom pictures and many others. Good luck!
