Looking for an idea for a seasonal hallway bulletin board idea that I can leave up during October and November. Any ideas? Leaves? Pumpkins? Both?

How about pumpkins, scarecrows and cornstalks? You could label it Scaring up good students for October and just change the beginning to Thankful for good students for November.

How about a board you can keep adding to?

Title - "FALLing into Learning"

Leaves decorated by each child - maybe with titles of books they read? Or they get to do one on Friday if they've turned in all their homework that week?

Pumpkins along the bottom - "decorate" them one by one with topics you learn about in class. Or maybe make them kind of lift-the-flap, with a question of the week, and then the answer underneath?

I have a fall tree that I put up. The tree trunk/limbs are cut from brown paper, and then I bought some artificial fall leaves at Dollar Tree, cut them apart from the plastic branches, and use them on and around the tree. It gives it a nice 3-dimensional effect. Then I change out what is around it with different artwork, etc.

As suggested, I used pumpkins and leaves. I put their pictures on the pumpkins. My title: "What A Patch." Thanks for your help!!

You can have a pumpkin patch theme! Each student can decorate and make a pumpkin! On the pumpkin they can write something they are thankful for, to tie to the thanksgiving theme.
