Chalk Theme

Clip to ScrapBook #1

Okay so once I saw the "chalk it up" collection by Creative Teaching Press I got hooked. Anyway, I'm trying something new with my rules and procedures anchor charts because I have horrid handwriting and I want it to look nice For those of you that are unfamiliar with CHAMPS, it's just a system of expectations. I'm going to get them printed by vista print.

With me going from elementary to middle school I didn't want to be too cutesy but I will always be myself. For all you creative people out there...do you think it's too dark? How could I make it less dark? I plan on putting color into the rest of my room and played around with colored fonts but it doesn't show well on the chalk board background. Also, my behavior charts are the only chalk board background posters I'll have (probably...I get easily addicted lol).

ALSO, I have this lightbulb border that is going to go around my classroom door (http://www.creativeteaching.com/prod...htbulbs-border). Any good ideas for a matching slogan? I'm an English teacher and someone had given me "Light up your life with literacy!" but I would appreciate any suggestions

So I changed some of the posters to colored fonts. I love the voice level poster and I'm fine with my expectations (blue is my favorite color plus it's a cool color...be cool ). For the SWAG poster I picked green because it's not on my other posters but I HATE green... Opinions?

My CHAMPS posters will stay white because I already ordered the one for instruction to ensure the quality is good.

I think you could add colored border around the posters or put them on a colored background if it seems too dark. It's super cute.

Did you find any good deals for vistaprint?
