Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but is it worth it to invest in a laminating machine if you're teaching early grades K-3. I know that schools have them, but just wondered if any teachers have them at home?

I have a small one at home, but i hardly use it because the lamination sheets are expensive. I don't use it for big jobs.

I have the Scotch laminator and use it all the time. I purchase lots of things from TPT and also create on my own. I buy 200 sheets of laminating pockets at Sam's Club for $20.

My school does not provide laminating film so I have to do buy my own. I use it lots for the small stuff. I just bought the 200 for $20 at Sam's today and it works great!

I use my Scotch laminating machine all the time. It is great when making games. I think it would be a good investment. I have one at home and one at school.

I got mine (a Scotch) a few years ago with points from Scholastic and I love it! Like others have said, it's more for smaller things, but the lamination is really thick and good quality. It looks really good for a long time.
