Integers Project?

I just finished teaching students how to add and subtract integers. I am required to give them a project at the end of each unit, but I am having a hard time finding an appropriate project that has them apply the use of adding & subtracting integers. I thought about a stock market project or a budgeting project. Any ideas??? This is for an advanced group of 5th grade students.

For example gaining and losing yards in football. The kids could put together a broadcast or article based on the game. You could also do that with stocks, weather, etc.

Could they make a timeline based on their life or another topic?

Maybe something that incorporates sea life, biomes at different depths... Above and below sea level....
