Hello Last year I decorated a classroom with this theme. Here are some ideas I found when I was decorating. I have a lot of pins on my Pinterest and pictures of the classroom. There are a bunch of ideas out there especially now!
“Our Work is Incredible”- Incredible Hulk.
Super Work, with superman letters
“Wonderful Work”- Wonder Woman
“Newsflash” for Information board
“Caught with Amazing work”- Spiderman
Parts of speech web- Spiderman
Feel the power of the cape. The power to learn, think, solve problems, work hard, and make good decisions.
Superhero check list: trustworthy, honest, kind, responsible, cooperative, fair and respectful
We all have different strengths/powers
Super powers activate learning
This weeks hero is…
All I need to know I learned from my heroes!
Knowledge is power
Hang your capes here- where lunch boxes or bags go
Reading gives us superpowers
Write like a superhero
Knowledge is my superpower
Hero Headquarters- have a city silhouette on the bottom. Surround the city with word bubbles with the kids names written on them.
Get caught in a good book- Spiderman with a web
Get stuck in a super book- Spiderman with a web
Fly away with a good book- Superman
Math is not your nemesis when you activate key words!
Incredible AR Goals
Have a superhero for each student and a city or building. When they reach their goal have them climb to the top of the city or building. You can also do this with the sky and have them Soar to New Heights.
“A new journey to be started. A new promise to be fulfilled. A new page to be written…” – Wonder woman
“There are heroes all around us doing ordinary things in extraordinary ways!”
“I teach. What’s your superpower?”
“I learn. What’s your superpower?”
Superheroes in training
Table numbers/Ceiling Decorations
Have pompom tissue paper balls with the words pow, bam, zap, etc. or with the symbols of Batman, Superman, Spiderman, etc.
Have tissue paper fans with the table numbers on them
