Pete the Cat is going to be my class theme next year. Any ideas for bulletin board titles? I found a calendar set, reading strategies posters, writing strategies posters and a door welcome banner. I love the books. Please share any ideas...

I don't know much about Pete the Cat, but I love his groovy buttons! How about a welcome board that says something like, "My students, my students, my twenty groovy students." Kids' names could be written on button like circles.

That would be perfect! Dollar Tree usually has a lot of colors available.

his cool blue magic sunglasses that makes everyone feel happy when they look through them. You could have a class set of a pair of blue sunglasses and say. . .Mrs.______ Class is Too Cool to Feel Blue.

I did a Pete theme last year. There's lots of ideas on Pinterest. My weekly newletter was "Rocking in our School Shoes." On welcome night you can give out Pete's favorite snack...goldfish. On Valentine's Day you can give Pop Rocks. Pete was our take home pet too. He had a binder that kids could add pictures to. He appeared at several birthday parties and school events.

My bulletin board titles:
Groovy 1st grade work
We're rocking this school year

I also created a poster with an adapted poem from Magic Sunglasses:
Weather the sky is cloudy or thesis is bright,
I'm ready to learn and I'm feeling alright!

I'll try to find pictures to post!
