Took a quick 4 day trip last weekend to my happy place. Sunrise Monday morning in Hamilton, Bermuda . Home sick today with a nasty cough and absolutely no voice. Glad I didn't have this last weekend!

I took this on my way to work this morning.

DH drove me to school since his truck is getting worked on and we are down to one vehicle for a few days

Technically this is last Friday, but this is one that was caught of me at quilting class. It made me smile when I saw it.

This is going to be DH’s Christmas present. He likes to work with wood in his spare time. I worked on it in short spurts since he is semi retired and is home some days. It will be completed after the holidays so he can choose the backing/quilting. The picture is sideways.

Zephie
Please make a print of that photo of yourself in the process of making your quilt. You can keep it in storage with your quilt so you'll always have a remembrance of your hard work when working on that quilt. That's a very special photo !

Choppie, that is gorgeous! Anna, your granddaughter is priceless!!

While eldest DD, DH, and I went for a pedicure, youngest DD babysat Wyatt. We came home to this in the middle of the living room. 4 hours later, his mom asked him where his socks were. Quite matter of factly, he said “I fed them to the dinosaur. See?” He picked up the tube and the socks were at the bottom.

EllaKate, anna, and cruxian—it’s good to know you all appreciate my idea of good food. Biggie’s is “my” burger joint. It’s friendly and clean, with a beach mural and a limited menu (but 3 types of fries). I walk there (only 1 mile) to mitigate the damage. Let me know next time you’re in town and we can walk there together—my treat.

Great photos, everyone!

Mine is of a gopher in my small vegetable patch finishing off a three-foot kale stalk. How he got there in the first place is a mystery, since it is essentially a wooden box with a wire mesh bottom. The more pertinent question is how to get him out before he destroys everything else.

It is barely mid November and we have had three significant snowfalls totally 12 inches so far. I am glad to be retired and not having to deal with driving in it, but this could be a lonnnnnnng winter!

As you can see all the leaves haven’t even fallen yet, so spring clean up should be interesting.

Sorry, I should have made it clear that you can't see the gopher, but as PoohBear said, the kale was disappearing in front of my eyes. I saw the top leaves disappear into the ground. The kale was a 3 foot tall plant before the gopher got to it.

Home sick. Just did this. They are kind of fun and keeps my hands busy while watching too much Netflix today
No idea what to do with it now. With a jigsaw puzzle I just put it back in the box and give it to a friend to do.

Jai looks so adorably peaceful! And my little miss adores purses and would totally put leaves in hers too!

Here's my little Mr in the onesie I got as an end of year gift last year. He is quickly outgrowing newborn clothes so I needed to get some pictures while it fits!

I have tried and tried to post a picture, but just. can't. do. it.

Here's a link where you can find what I wanted to post a picture of. It's a nativity set that is all dogs. The box becomes the stable. It is really cute. Hope this doesn't violate the Friday Photo rules. You have to click on the arrow on the right side to move the pictures until you get to the correct one which is about the 4th one.

Nope! The trails were clear and I was really careful to not break through the ice. The river was running under the ice.

Love all the photos. Techgrad - your family is beautiful. Love all the precious baby photos and beautiful nature shots as well. Amiga has succeeded in making me hungry.

Liberty teach - Love your quilt - is it paper pieced?

Always look forward to Friday Photo thread!

What fun photos of everyone!

This is my one year old DG playing with my cabinets and bowls. A few moments later, she tipped over backwards and cried a bit. But it was fun while it lasted...
