This year I am now teaching PE classes on the same field and time that recess is also happing.I am having a hard time with the recess children using the PE equipment when I go get a class. Any ideads/thought on how to keep the recess children to leave the PE equipment alone.

Or whoever is doing the recess monitoring. They need to watch the kids and keep them off the equipment.

Yep, talk to the teachers. And maybe also set up some cones so the students have a visual area that they have to stay out of.

I did talk to the teachers, wrote them a note and put out cones to let them know that I would be coming out with a class. Nothing has worked. I akm unable to set up any equipment ahead of time. Instead I have to set up once I am out with that class then put everything away at the end of that class, go get my next class and start all over again. I get to do this 8 times every day. Any other thoughs or ideas?????

That's ridiculous that teachers supervising the playground allow that to happen.

When you have an apportunity talk to the principal and let them know what you are going through and that you need help with this issue...This is equipment that will have to be bought again if the students damage, or take it and see what they can do...Hopefully, they will be supportive...
