As a Cathoic school teacher we have prayed and will continue to do so. I hope your tragedy can help us all learn how to prevent this act of evil in the future. I will treasure each day with my little ones.
To all beloved members of the Sandy Hook Elem. Family and their extended families,
Please know that you remain and will remain for a very long time to come in the heart and mind of this First Grade teacher and countless other educators and parents across this nation.
May God shower his healing love and comfort down upon you now and forevermore!
My heart breaks for everyone affected by this horrific and senseless event. I hope the children, staff and families find some peace during this tragic time. RIP Sandy Hook Elem. angels.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Sandy Hook Elementary community. I am a kinder teacher and will certainly hug my kinders close this week. I know all of those lost are now angels watching over your school and community from now on.
Teachers at Sandy Hook: Teachers everywhere feel your pain and want to help shoulder your burden and ease your heartache. I have never been prouder to be a teacher. You will carry on because that's what teachers do for their children. Gain strength from the outpouring of love that is coming your way. Love conquers all.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire community as they accept the reality of their loss. It is with great sorrow that we reach out to them. I can not begin to imagine the grief. I reach out to them in hopes that they can find some hope in the fact that life goes on. There is a reason why they are here.
For all victims of this evil act, living or in heaven. For the pain of NOW, living through this tragedy, and for the pain of TOMORROW, when the reality of it hits again and again, and time moves on for everyone else, but not for your loved ones or for your own heartbreak.
My heart aches for the families and loved ones who lost their loved ones at Sandy Hook. I can't imagine their pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
As a teacher and parent, my heart is broken. May God guide and comfort you at this terrible time. I will certainly look at the kids in my classroom a little differently tomorrow.
What can be said? Those poor babies. With tears in my eyes I pray that you can find the strength needed to get through this terrible time. Teachers are heros. Principals are heros. Children are angels.
The unimaginable has happened to you. You truly are the focus of our thoughts and prayers as the new week begins. I hope you will be able to imagine a time of peace in the future. With love from Thomas Edison School in Port Huron, MI.
There are no words that can heal but there are no actions that can steal the love that this school will forever have. As a community of educators, I also pray for the families and friends of Sandy Hook Elementary.
The horror of waking up if even from only a short nap... the sudden realization that the smile of a loved one is now only a memory is far too common in the past 48 hours for too many souls.
To lose a loved one to violence is such a hard thingt to get one's mind around. To not have known that morning that that was the last time to hear their voice. To have such young angels be sent on before their time.
I think of all of the people who are affected by unfathomable crime and I weep.
As a first grade teacher in Ct. I am so very sorry for your tremendous loss. The bravery of the students and staff is inspiring. The loss of your friends and children leave us speechless. I send my prayers to you and to all of th families in Newtown.
There are no words to take away the pain of this or to even understand what you are going through. You have my deepest prayers to help you face the next few hours, days, and weeks as your community has to find peace.
Please know that the sorrow I feel is intensely deep. I can not even begin to imagine how you must be feeling. May God grant you the strength to find a way through your time of darkness.
Sending nothing but positive energy to everyone at Sandy Hook Elementary, both in and out of this world...
You are not forgotten, you are not ignored...you are loved.
I pray that the pain will be eased with every passing moment.
Please accept my sincere condolences to each of the families who lost a love one in this tradegy. Remember, earth has no sorrows that Heaven cannot heal. Peace be unto each of you.
There are no words to express the sadness I feel for the families and community in general for your loss. Seeing those innocent young children in the photos full of life just breaks my heart. They are all so beautiful. So, so sorry for the parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers, etc. You just wouldn't think that you could drop your children off at school one morning and never see them again...
There are no words I can say that will comfort you. I'm so sorry for your loss. You didn't deserve it; no one deserves something like this. Cherish the memories that you have with your children. Cherish their pictures, their clothes, their little toys. They are always with you, watching over you and guiding you. The whole world is crying with you now.
My heart is breaking for all of you. Please know that the world is praying for you during this difficult time. Many hugs and prayers being sent to you.
I can't even wrap my head around what your community is experiencing. Please know we are thinking of you and your loved ones. May God's strength be there for you......I am so sorry for what has happened. Your community has shown its strength......God Bless you all...

It's been five days and my heart still hurts. As a teacher and a mom, I am so saddened and frightened by the events that happened at Newtown, CT. My prayers are still with the families of those who lost their lives that terrible day. I just can't begin to imagine what this community is going through. Sandy Hook will never be forgotten.
Words can not express the feelings I felt upon hearing the news that had befallen your community. I just know I had a heavy heart. Just know that my thoughts and prayers are always with you, and as you look down toward your feet and notice that extra pair of foot prints beside yours, remember you are not walking alone during this turbulent time.
I know there are no words to properly express the sorrow I feel for your loss, but know that teachers everywhere are praying that you will feel God's comfort and strength during this time.
Not a day goes by that you are not thought of and prayed for. The teachers and students at my school will continue to keep you in their thoughts and prayers.
May those who have been impacted by this tragedy find peace and comfort as they deal with this during the holidays. My heart goes out to the children and to the adults whose lives were lost in such a senseless tragedy. May God comfort them and heal the families as well as the town.
May you find comfort in knowing all that have passed are in a better place and will be watching over you now. Those sweet innocent souls are now your guardian angels. God has them with him at home now, and they are at peace. Our entire country is morning your loss. May God Bless and help you through this difficult time.
