I live about 30 minutes north of there. The main thing is the Woodfield Mall. I just finished taking a stand up comedy class at the Laugh Out Loud Theatre. They have improv shows and stand up comedy performances. There is another comedy club called Zanies around there that offers the same type of stuff.

The area near the mall called the Streets of Woodfield has a movie theater. There are some good restaurants around that area as well.

We have something to do in Schaumburg, but also want to go to the city. How far apart?

Chicago is about 35 miles from Schaumburg. Travel time is dependent on traffic. Have fun in the area!

If the weather is good, you might like to visit the Morton Arboretum in Lisle. It would be about a 30 minute drive. The trolls are wonderful. https://www.mortonarb.org/events/troll-hunt

You are so right. Those trolls are so darn cute! Morton Arboretum is a great place. Brookfield zoo is another 40 minutes from Schaumburg that is a great place to be. The weather will not be good. I live near there, and am just hoping to hit 60 soon.
