Laminator at home?

I have gathered so many wonderful resources and I'm thinking about getting a laminator to use at home. Anybody have one? Which one would you recommend? Or is there another way to get things laminated inexpensively?

I have one. It's great! I even reheat stuff I've laminated at school since our machine at school sometimes doesn't get hot enough. I think mine is a Scotch brand. I got it a few years ago for about $25.

You should definitely get a laminator at home! I kid you not when I say that it will CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
The Scotch Thermal Laminator is what I have and I've seen MANY other posts on here with others who love theirs as well. From what I've seen, Amazon, Walmart, Sams Club, BJ's (I get my pouches here), Costco have the best deals.
Have fun!

I too have one at home and use it all the time for small jobs or things I want with a more firm finish. I think I also have a scotch brand.

I love my Scotch Laminator. I like to use scotch laminating sheets too because I feel like they are more durable. AND you can cut them with a paper cuter and the laminate doesn't peel off like with some of the cheaper protectors.

Those of you that have the Scotch laminator, does yours make a noise? HAHA I have had it for a few years and used it a lot this summer. It is now beginning to make a slight noise haha. I hope it is not going out on me lol. It still works great!

I actually bought a 27" roll laminator off Craigslist several years ago and LOVED it. I'm kicking myself now because I sold it 2 summers ago since I had been a sub and was going to get a job in that school. Well, THAT didn't happen and now I'm back in a small private school and WISH I had that laminator!

It was SO nice to have!

I don't have one, but I sure do wish I had that Scotch laminator that everyone got such a great deal on last summer! I drove all the way to school yesterday to laminate all my PT inspired goodies and guess which room the custodian was waxing when I got there! I am headed to Target to pick up one today because I cannot wait to get one from Amazon!

I have the Scotch one... I bought it at BJ's along with the pouches. They had the best price in my area. I actually used it last night to laminate a bunch of my centers.
