I bought this super-discounted last year after the season; what a treat to get it out yesterday and see the colors that complement my digs. I know it’s silly-looking, but it makes me smile. I’m desperately trying not to fill it with Halloween candy.
That is the most gorgeous pie, KatieViolet! I’m very impressed with your culinary skills. But I think it would look better in my house—with vanilla ice cream.
My plumeria is loving the somewhat tropical weather we are experiencing in my area. It is from a cutting I got in Hawaii many years ago. This is only the third consecutive summer it has produced flowers, so I'm very excited.
I like it. Honestly, it doesn’t look like a container so you don’t HAVE to put candy in it. But then, why bother owning a candy dish if you do t put candy in it.
Makes me want to get all my glass pumpkins down from the attic. But weather still feels like summer.
I’m still milking my visit to Olympic National Park, this is from Hoh Rainforest, a part of the park that gets 138 inches of rain a year....and is about 50 miles from a place that gets 23 inches
I love the gnarled trees and roots.
No more stitches!! I had eyelid surgery last week. Not only did I need the lid done, but also had the underlying muscles tightened. The muscle repair meant my Dr. had to wake me up during the surgery so I could open my eyes - needed to make sure everything was even.
I'll spare you the early post surgery pics, they're pretty icky! I'm glad the stitches are gone, they were driving me nuts. My peripheral vision is back!
DD24 made blueberry muffins the other night and sent me a picture saying she wished she could send me one. So do I!
They were made in her teeny tiny DC kitchen
Every morning, after I get up and let the dog out, he jumps into bed and takes my spot. This is my view before I head out to school each morning. Always makes me smile!
