Email or handwritten thank you note after an interview? They will be making a decision the end of next week.

I think e-mail will get there faster, so I would go with e-mail.

I emailed yesterday so they would for sure get the thank you before they made up their mind. They seemed like the decision would be made in two days.

All things being equal, a hand written thank you note could make the difference. "Thank you again for...."

It will make you stand out more, especially if the interviewers are over 40.

Thank you everyone! I sent an email to each member of the committee. Now I just need to wait which is the hardest part! I really hope I get this job! I was rejected 6 times last summer and it is not a good feeling.

I personally have some thank you notes with me. After the interview I drive to a local Starbucks and write them. I then drive them back to the school and hand them to the secretary. I have been told they really like this and got me my last job.
