New waiting room

I am waiting to have another MOHS surgery and this is the new waiting room. It is getting hot waiting on the call that it is my turn! I am going to be a sweaty mess when they finally call me to come inside. DH canít even go in so he said he was going to Sonic for a cool drink once they call me inside. 20 mins and counting...

I had a similar waiting room. Turn on the ignition and the AC. It's worth the money.

Waiting in a hot car...

When I had a dental appointment the thought of sitting in a hot car (or even with the AC running) waiting for my turn, made me anxious. (It's not in the best of neighborhoods.) I called ahead and found that my dental office had only scheduled one or two procedures at my particular time, so they told me I could just walk in and they'd be waiting for me.

I can't imagine how I'd feel waiting for 20+ minutes. I'm guessing my blood pressure would give a high reading and they'd have to have me sit in the waiting room to calm down and then take it again, which would defeat the purpose of waiting in my car in the first place.

Mohs surgery requires waiting for up to an hour afterward for the surgeon to examine the slides and see if if they got all the skin cancer. If not, back for the second cut. There's no way not to have a longer than usual wait in a car.

Ugh! I have an appointment tomorrow- hopefully I won't need MOHS (again). Waiting in the car all that time would be miserable enough. In hot weather- even worse! I hope you need very few rounds!

At least your waiting room should have good music!

Your waiting room looks just like mine.....2015 Subaru Forester!

Good luck with your surgery.....not sure what MOHS is, but I'll Google it!
