Supplement Ashwagandha - anyone heard of it?

I saw this supplement in a Costco ad and it is intriguing me. It's called ashwagandha and it says it helps reduce stress and support healthy cortisol. I could definitely use help with both, especially with the upcoming school situation.

Anyone heard of this or used it?

Oh yes, I've come across it in reading about herbs, but haven't used it and don't know anyone who has. Sorry I can't give more info.

I'm all for holistic methods. I'm about to try another herb for something myself (Cleaver's Herb). My cupboard looks like a little vitamin shop, ha!

The main thing is to research the side effects as you would for prescription meds.

Yes. Some people with PCOS use it. We tend to have higher cortisol due too hormones.

I havenít used it.

I take it daily. I really think it helps. I wish it didn't cost so much, but still a small price to pay for restful sleep.
