Refrencing skills mini lesson

We are having a "rally" before our State tests. We (teachers) are each taking a strand or skill and doing a 15-20 minute fun lesson on it and then the students are rotating. My partner (in crime?) and I have signed up for Refrencing Skills. Any great lesson ideas you guys have? Dressing up, acting goofy, any of the above is OK because we do that all the time!

I wanted to add that the "theme" is pirates and "ARRRRRRR you ready for the FCAT?"

I think we don't know what you mean by "referencing." Could you be a bit more specific?
