End of the Year Slide Show

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I teach at a private Christian school. I am doing an end of the year slideshow for all of my kids....and I would like to use an "adult" meaningful song---and I know SEVERAL secular ones that would work. However, I need to use a Christian song (contemporary Christian is fine). I am drawing a complete blank as to what songs I could use for this. I could use some of the songs that we have sung in chapel this year, but they are upbeat w/ motions type music...and I really am looking for something a little more poignant.

Go Light the World -by Chris Rice.
Here's to the World we Love- by Raffi (kid song, but great)
I can only Imagine- by Mercy me, they loved this one
That's were my treasure is-by the Veggietales
With my Own two hands -by Ben Harper and Jack Johnson (CUrious George Soundtrack
Lean on Me -by Veggietales
Saying Goodbye -by the Muppets (my clss sang this for a song along with the muppets and I audio recorded it and then used that version)
I want to be in the light- by DC Talk.
The prayer... I think Andre Bocelli and Celine Dion...
What if I stumble- by DC Talk
The Cartoon Song-Chris Rice
You've got a Friend in me-from Toy Story
We've got us- The Muppets again
and more but those are the ones I can think of.

I can't think of a specific song, but my 3rd graders love Leeland. I have one of their CD's in my classroom and they love to listen to it when they work on art projects etc. I have the CD with the song Opposite Way, I can't remember the name of the CD itself.

Here are a few I really like:

A Page is Turned - Bebo Norman
Lifesong - Casting Crowns
Walk by Faith - Jeremy Camp

I'm sure I can come up with more, but I have to leave for the airport. I'll post again later
