Clip to ScrapBook #1

I created an account a long time ago and now I have no idea how to "use it".

Do my students just login through Google each time and enter the "code"? then I will get a report each time?

What's the best way to use this? I saw a lot of people post some positive things about it, I mostly use Kahoot and am curious to see if it's any better/worse.

thank you!

Quizizz and Kahoot! are similar in a lot of ways. I use Quizizz for homework assignments actually. I know a teacher that uses it for warm-ups. Quizizz has a feature that allows students to work at their own paces and it randomizes questions/answers. You can make classroom games with it just like Kahoot! but it has other features that I like.

I was a serious Kahoot! user but mostly use Quizizz because of the data reports I can get back. Don't get me wrong, I still use Kahoot! sometimes but it depends on what I want to accomplish.

I like it a lot better than Kahoot because you can randomize (is that a word?) the questions and answers.

I use it almost daily for vocabulary. There's an activity/game called Fast and Curious from Jon Corippo's book EduProtocol. It has been amazing to see my students' academic vocabulary grow this year. I teach 2nd grade mostly EL students. My students LOVE it!

Here's a link to a video about it.
