Anyone use QR codes? What do you do with them? Ever get ipads used from ebay to read the codes in the classroom?

I use them often and I've promised myself I will use them more. The kids love them and they're quick, easy and engaging. They're also a great way to self check. I use them for math activities, scoot games, scavenger hunts, etc.

We have an iPad cart per grade level so I use those.

I use them for hall passes!

I have two old iPods (that are wifi enabled) that I use as passes. Students scan the code, type their name, put the iPod on their desk, and then go to the bathroom.

It's set to log date and time.

I also plan to use it for homework documentation as well.

Any way to use them with laptops? We don't have IPads

If the laptop has webcam you should be able to,turn on the webcam and then put the QR code up to the camera and have it work. I've done that before but it's been 4 or 5 years.
