Hi everyone ,

Can any one suggest me please the below two questions if you can Thank you .

Is it ok to substitute in more than one district ?
Do we need to tell each other that we are working in another place or just not need to and stay silent .

I was with one dist so far as we had lot jobs to fill .

But now they going hybrid but mask rules are very very easy I feel .
Not mandatory and very unsafe to go in .

Another two school dists near are seemingly safe with ppe kits giving to staff and students and more measures .

I was thinking it is safe for me time being to parallel apply there too .
(But one belong to another state .we live border line .
My certification valid there also )

Please suggest me .
Thank you always

Sila

I am in three districts now, however at one time I worked in five districts. When you apply they often ask you what other districts you work in, just be honest in that respect, however, you donít need to tell them every time you work in another district. If your district is on the same platform as where you get your jobs, they will most likely see where you were working each day. Iím not sure about how that will affect you working in two different states. I donít think that will matter until tax time.

if both have aesop/frontline they can easily see you working elsewhere, but I never had a problem. most of the districts here had 3 day maximums due to obamacare, so they encouraged you to work other districts if you wanted full time work.

You can sub in as many districts as you wish.

I did not think that one district can check on your jobs in another district unless they have your user ID and password for the other district.

Most would expect you to work elsewhere, so you do not have to worry.

Three is just right, since I do not want to spread myself too thin with more, or stay home too often with fewer.

I don't think they really care. They would rather you work for just them, so you're always available, but many, many, if not most, active subbers work in more than one district.

Might be allowed, but maybe not wise

My district really wants to keep subs to just one building this year because of Covid. (Like building subs)

I would think carefully about multiple districts this year. If you end up becoming sick, there will be MANY more contacts affected and possibly quarantined.

I agree with Yaya, but anytime you work more, there will be more exposure.
