Bummer, I love to talk about hair/hairstyles!

So let's repurpose this post-- what hairstyle would you love to have if your hair/face/body supported it better? (Hope that makes sense) Post pics/ links if you have them!

I have lots of looks I love, and this is one I just found. My hair would not support this - it's too thick and curly to get this look without significant work. I wouldn't mind the face, either

For a longer look, I love this. My hair is much thicker and it would take a lot of time to make it look more like this.

(I'm not sure why all the pictures I'm finding are blond- I have darker hair and I prefer darker hair )

I love the layered, ombre bob style, in fact, I had a major cut done and that's what I got it to look closely like earlier this summer, but I don't like my color job at all and plan to return to have it fixed. (I wanted to add 2 more pictures, but couldn't see how.)

You have to post them in separate posts. One picture per post Cute style. I cut my own hair, and I typically layer it. I'm trying to decide what to do next. I'm not super motivated to do something that requires much work.

^ Thanks, yes I think I knew that and I guess forgot. Long ago I posted pictures of 2 sweaters and I guess I had to do it separately. I very rarely post photos.

I also like that first short one but my face wouldn't look so good with that.

Christi- I like that one, too!

I don't have a good sense of what would look good with my face, honestly. Sometimes I'd like to just go to someone and say "make me look good however you want" but I'm too lazy/cheap

I live this one!

I have long, fine, straight hair, but I have a ton of it. It will not hold a curl and I need a style that doesn’t require a lot of work.

Thatís why I keep going back to my stylist. I was desperate for a hair cut several years ago and got an appointment with her. I told her I had no idea what would work with my face shape, hair type and all that. She asked me to trust her and turned me away from the mirror and went to work. My hair looked awesome! That was before a child, when I had time to use products and the inclination to style my hair. Much more low maintenance now.

This is pretty much how I wore my hair in the 80s. Think it will come back?

ahhh............Farrah and the decade of big hair.
"Those were the days my friend,
We thought they'd never end.
Those were the days."

The curly big perms --- yup.
Remember them well.
Those earrings are special too.

My turn!

I want to do an ombrť so badly but I think I'm past the age where this would be acceptable. I can hear people saying, "Look at that old lady trying to look young."

I also want a nose piercing on the side of the nose (nose stud?). And that I just might do!

I soooooo want this hair! But for one thing I am a wash and go girl. I wouldn't have the first clue as to how to do this. Plus, my hair is about 75% gray and grown to the bottom of my shoulder blades. At this length and super thick hair to boot, it costs me over $200 to do this. Not counting the monthly touch ups so my gray doesn't show through.
