Finding cheap flights - Is there a way...

I'd like to see where I can go for cheap over my spring break. I gotta get out of here! . When I look at the cheap flights, it's always for random dates. Is there a place where I can put in specific dates, and then look at cheap flights for those dates?

I like to use google flights. You can put in specific days, you can also play around with the days +/- 1 day, you can even not specify a destination, and see which destination is most affordable for your home airport.

After I find the flight I like, I go to the airline's website and book it.

One limitation is that Southwest does not participate in google flights - you have to go directly to their website to search.

I used SmartFares to purchase tickets to Japan for my upcoming trip this summer.

We used skyscanner.com to book our flight to Tokyo last year and We were very happy with price and the airline we went with. The other day I looked at Delta's site and the prices are a lot lower than we expected, even better than the great deal we found on skyscanner last year. I am curious if the Corona Virus caused the prices to go down or if the prices are typical this time of year (buying tickets for June). My point- try the airline's site as well as the discount sites. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Expedia. You can book flight, hotel and car in one shot. Because they are booking together at one time, you get a discount.

They also let you earn reward points for booking. I just saved $41 on my hotel room for a night by using my points.

I also use Expedia. You can type in different dates and compare prices.

Thanks everyone! We'll see! Looks like most of the cheap flights that aren't weird airlines are to cold places.
