It is the little things that make them special.

SIL#2 peeled the potatoes for supper so my daughter could Face Time with me. He could have said let's just do instant.

SIL#1 just dropped off a box of our favorite donuts. He was off work early and did the grocery shopping so our daughter wouldn't have to tomorrow. He remembered we like the ones where they shop.

That was so nice of both of them! How are you feeling today? I hate that you got this virus.

So glad you have such sweet sons in law. Mine? Not so much. I haven't been well for a few days and I'm eating very little. I just went to the fridge to get the two little potatoes I cooked extra last night thinking I could have them for lunch. But no, he beat me to them! He's like a human garbage can....eats anything and everything. I guess I have to start labeling things I don't want him to eat. I'm so wishing I could go back to my own home.....He knew I was resting the other day and that's when he decided to start putting up shelves. So, count your blessings, mhugs.

I envy you. I can identify more with rusty's SIL experience.

My SIL & daughter lived with me when they first moved to this state. I loved having her around and I treasure that time I had with her but him? Not so much. He was the human garbage can, too. Both my daughter and I were in the habit of taking leftovers to work for lunches but good luck with that with him around. He'd get up in the middle of the night and polish off anything that he liked. Of course, if he didn't like it, he'd go get fast food rather than eat it for supper. I didn't have to worry about him putting up shelves, though, or doing anything else that required any handyman know how.

So, yes, count your blessings!
