Found a House

Finally! We have come to an agreement on price. It is a great house; nicest one Iíve seen, and less expensive than both of the last two...I feel like Iíve been looking forever.

The first one I put an offer on in May said he was getting every penny back that he put in and would not take less than asking. His family was in a hurry to sell, because the wife was pregnant at the time. He had two more offers that he turned down. They ended up removing the listing shortly before she had the baby.

The second one was the ďno counterĒ one that told my realtor that his house ďwasnít really for sale, because the for sale sign wasnít in the yardĒ ...even though it was officially listed and I went to see it twice.

This one ... Early stages, but we have a purchase agreement and I hope it works out! Itís a little 2 bedroom with a very manageable yard, tons of storage, and a nice garage/paved drive! Most exciting is that Iím saving a good $15,000 with the price AND will be close enough to walk to school!

That's exciting! Seems like things are working out the way they should! Fingers crossed for a smooth sale.

I've always wanted to live close enough to walk to school (like I did when I was a kid in elementary school)!

Thanks everyone! Once I got over being nauseous about the money (), Iíve gotten very excited and closing seems like it is forever away.

I am definitely looking forward to walking on nice days. Itís something Iíve missed since the last time I moved!
