Darn it, I fell!

I just did a full-body plant on the sidewalk while out for my afternoon stroll. Iím a little scraped and sore, but I walked home just fine. The really good news is that I tripped (I am notorious for not picking up my feet and the toe of my sandal caught uneven pavement) and it was only a trip, NOT vertigo. So actually the fall is a win: I didnít lose consciousness and Iím fine to walk tomorrow. Amazing what makes me happy.

It's so easy to catch a sandal on just about anything. Hope you're not too sore tomorrow.

When my son was a toddler and fell (which was often!), he would say (with the most adorable lisp), "Mean old Mister Gwabity."

Sorry Mean old Mister Gwabity got you.

I'm so glad you're ok. Falling is scary and embarrassing! Just be glad you didn't have a gallon jug of milk in your hand at the time!

Stay well, and lift those feet!

I love it! I can hear it!

Thanks, friends, I just soaked in a hot bath and it was lovely.

Tomorrow I may pick up my feet a bit and shun Mean old Mister Gwabity.

I have done that. My mom got her flip flop caught on vacation recently and did the same thing and DID get a vertigo attack. I'm glad you at least escaped that! Rest up!

I'm so glad you didn't break anything. You must be the poster child for strong bones.
Because of an anti cancer drug that I have to take for five years, I am at high risk for broken bones if I fall. But the good news is that gets me out of bus duty. Silver lining in every cloud.

Falling is so scary! I'm glad you're okay, and you sure have a good attitude about it. I have realized that I don't lift my feet much either. I can trip over something that sticks up under 1/4".

I hope you are too sore tomorrow. Glad you had a good soak.

Glad you're ok. It amazes me how much we have to be thankful for when we fall, ie it was a trip... wasn't vertigo... Didn't lose conciousness...
I have fallen a few times and a couple have been due to seizures. A regular, tripped, lost my balance fall not due to an underlying condition is scary enough.
