scented candles?

What's the best scented candle that you enjoy burning? I recently purchased a fall Yankee candle and it has very little scent when burned. What's a good candle that has pleasant scents?

Votivo (Forgotten Sage is my favorite) or Henri Bendel (Firewood is my favorite).

I was into candles for a split second once. I'd get whatever is the most all-natural type out there. I love the citrus and organic/natural scents (citrus basil, etc.)

Iím not so into candles anymore. Prefer my simple diffuser.

But I have two favorite candles:

Northern Lights mahagony scented cranberry bowl. It smells like a mix between really good pipe tobacco and some vague flowery scent. Not overpowering at all.

P. F. Candle Co. No. 11 Amber and moss (Made in CA)
And that is exactly how it smells. Iím a sucker for most things amber scented. I suppose it is my signature scent.

Bath and BodyWorks candles are my favorite. For Fall, I like Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. I can't remember some of my other faves, but whenever I need a candle, I go in and do some sniffing around! The fragrance carries around the house a pretty fair amount.

I love Gold Canyon candles. The scents are truly amazing and really fill the air. I buy from a consultant but you can order online. Tons of choices! I'm burning "Pumpkin Pie" right now. One of my favorites is "White Citrus". Highly recommend!

I always used Yankee Candles for the fall and winter months.

Years ago, noticed black soot around the perimeter of the carpet (we had very light carpet). You can look up information on that topic, if interested.
When remodel was done, we didn't go back to carpet and candle burning was stopped.

Vet also gave a possible reason for cat's asthma attacks as candle burning fumes/scents and plug in air fresheners. Stopped using plug in air fresheners and sprays also.

After not using these for years, I get a headache after I visit a home that still uses these!

We purchased several pumpkin scented candles from Bath and Body, and they make the house smell yummy.

I also prefer diffusers, but there are plenty of candles in my favorite scent.

It lasts and has a pleasant smell that doesn't take over the room.

I wouldn't use plug-ins. Several teachers were using them before they were banned by the school district. One late, late afternoon, the principal and I were walking down the hall towards the front door when we smelled something burning. Sure enough there was smoke coming from one of the plug-ins in a teacher's room. Had to wait for the fire department to make sure there wasn't a fire. Then we had to walk around to all the classrooms and collect any we saw. Made for a very late night.

I agree - the fall Yankee candles don't give off a strong scent. I prefer their

Cranberry Chutney and Christmas Wreath scents.
