Number 7 today. My 5th lost job. And tomorrow isn't looking good either. Icy roads, high winds, snow.... Cars going past my house out in the country at 20 mph. I really, really don't want another snow day. Wednesdays are early dismissal days for PLC meetings. But full pay for subs. Sigh..... So sick of this depressing winter.

Where I am we had three in a row off; January 30th and 31st along with February 1st. A couple of districts are using February 18th as a make up day. I scheduled several appointments that day thinking I wouldn’t have any work. One district is irritated that I can’t sub for them on the 18th.

So sorry you're missing all that work, not to mention how depressing it is to have day after day of nasty weather. I guess this would be a bad time to mention that we're forecast to have a 77 degree day here in North Texas. We'll trade off with you on the miserable weather when it is surface-of-the-sun hot here this summer.

Be careful out there! I slid on the ice today and hit the side of a car. I told the sub coordinator I'd be late because of the accident. She asked if I still wanted to come in. Well, I still went to my assignment despite being a little shaken up. Took my mind off the accident for a while.
