Insect Life Cycle

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I'm looking for recommendations on insects to grow (from eggs) that could be released into a garden and where to purchase them. My 2nd-grade class will be doing a study of insect life cycles and I plan on releasing whatever insect we study into our school garden. I'm looking specifically for insect eggs (not larvae) so my students can observe the life cycle from the beginning.

Thank you!

Some of our local nurseries have praying mantis eggs and live ladybugs. I would check out your local nurseries and your zoo. One online company we used was www.insectlore.com . Have fun!
