Chef Nathan Lyon is such a smiley person, he makes chopping carrots look like a frolic by the beach.

Are you an ESP--extra smiley person? Or can you think of others?

an ESP
I am usually a very positive person and have a smile on my face. When I was working, I was the teacher who would walk down the hall with a smile on my face and a kind word to say to whoever I passed in the hall or at least a "Good morning!" I'd get irritated at people who wouldn't even nod in response. I mean I wasn't sickeningly sweet about it, just happy.

I agree with chronic.....I try to be positive. Not always a "Pollyanna" type, but happy and content. I find it helps me get through a difficult day. I try to encourage others, and many people seem to need a smile or kind word. Not fake, just caring or empathetic.

Oh, me too...and yeah, it was annoying when those one or two people wouldn't respond at all.

I'm a positive person too, but I don't have a toothy grin plastered on my face while I explain long division or slice vegetables. There, of course, are times when I grin, but in general my smile is more the Mona Lisa type. I generally look more like this than this , like right now, in fact.

I don't think I personally know anyone who is that kind of extra smiley person.

You two are special!

Oh but those folks are the most fun. I love to really turn on the charm and kill those sour prunes with kindness.

I'm not an ESP. It's not that I'm not generally happy, but I have a serious case of RBF.

I do too, Ima! I always have and get so tired of people asking me if I'm OK. I'm fine it's just my serious looking face

I guess I misunderstood OP, I don't have a smile plastered on my face all the time. Just am usually positive and try to show that. Not special, just blessed. I try to look for the best, glass half full.
